In Michigan it is the “Elder Law and Disability Rights” section. The attorney should be a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. If you find you need additional research You may inquire as to whether the lawyer has had articles published in the field of elder law. Does the lawyer have a blog? Has the lawyer written on his or her website?
